What is it about trying to take a few blog photographs that is so difficult? Well for one there is lighting and the realization that your outfit is either too basic or horrifically unflattering. Then amongst a range of other technical issues there is the large problem that is the general public.
I could try and disguise our mishaps in order to appear professional, however that's not the kind of girls we are so I will admit that en-route to our location, we recieved a multitude of heckles from passing vans. I mean really, yes we have a camera, we are in fact taking photographs, that is generally the use for which people purchase a camera?
Anyway... rant over with, I decided to go with a summery outfit despite still including the staple black and grey. I'm really into layering necklaces at the moment and so I stacked this Zara one over a vintage, handmade shark tooth necklace which my great grandad brought back from Africa.
The sunglasses make me look like a fly or possibly an 80's police officer but I felt that they went well with the outfit. Let us know what your frustrations are when creating blog content!

The long awaited Easter holidays have finally arrived, although they are apparently supposed to be consumed by endless hours of revision. However, me and Charlotte have been relaxing, and cramming in as many films as is humanely possible into this much needed break whilst still attempting to stay on top of our studies.
I bought these white Joni jeans with my birthday money a couple of weeks ago, they remind me of Lana del Rey video in combination with these over sized cat eye sunglasses from forever 21.
I paired them with a basic Topshop cropped tee because its nearly impossible to go wrong with black and white. The Topshop skate shoes... so beautiful and yet so painful! Both me and Charlotte bought a pair of these shoes and ended up carrying them in our hand as we walked in threadbare socks down the road like some 80's nostalgic film scene. However I remain optimistic as I want to believe that these are being broken in, my feet no longer bleed after 20 minutes of wear if that's anything to go by...
Hope your all enjoying the holidays xx
The January sales are drawing to a close which means its time to snap up those last few bargains! I managed to get these gorgeous Topshop boots for just £15 reduced from £75! A girl can never have too many pairs of ankle boots right?
The weather is still freezing cold and this faux-fur lined coat from River Island has been a real wardrobe staple over winter, the only downside being that white fur is difficult to maintain when you are a makeup lover. This grunge feel tee shirt is from Truly Madly Deeply at Urban Outfitters and I love the design with the triangles and evil eye. I chose my Topshop acid wash Joni jeans today as they are so comfy, I can understand why these are one of Topshop's most popular styles. Finally my outfit wouldn't be complete without my vintage leather backpack (excuse the hair, it doesn't fair well in strong winds!)Hope your all well and keep wrapped up this Febuary :)
