Top: 1975 Merch, Cardigan: Very, Snood: Primark, PVC Pants: River Island, Shoes: Converse
Ahh another all black ensemble. These PVC pants are such a polarising item, I love them but I know a lot of people hate them, on a night out one charming gentleman even called me a rather rude name for wearing them. I love them because they remind me of the suit from American Horror Story season 1, is that weird? I picked up the t-shirt when we went to go see them live (vlog on our Youtube if you missed it- link to the right), the design gives a really cool aesthetic. I think this outfit is a little bit goth, a little bit weird and a whole lotta good.
Let me know how you feel about PVC!

Top: Aliexpress, Cardigan: H&M, Coat: Topshop, Necklaces: Aliexpress
Summer is beginning to draw to a close and me and Charlotte have been eagerly awaiting this change of season. What's not to love about Autumn/Winter? Halloween, bonfire night, Christmas films, cranberry smokey eyes and dark lips... the list goes on!
So inspired by the dropping temperature I decided to experiment with layering outerwear pieces in neutral shades to switch up my usual leather jacket option. This textured cocoon biker coat was from Topshop a while back and adds sophistication to any look and to be honest this outfit needed just a touch to pull back from being full on Taylor Momsen...
My top is a UNIF dupe from Aliexpress.com, really worth a trawl through for bargains as my necklaces are both from the same site and were unbelievably inexpensive. I am wearing a Primark black bodycon skirt underneath the vest by the way, my mother asked the same question.
Here's to the start of all things Autumn!
Dress: Handmade, Boots: Matalan? Shirt: New look, Necklace: Miss Selfridge, Bag: Cynthia Rowley, Watch: Ali express, Bralet: H&M
I have never been good at sewing, maybe it's because I always attempt something ridiculously complicated *throwback to the 3D structured telephone bag which now lies half stitched in my wardrobe* However, I had been looking for a casual summer dress for hot days so I decided to attack a Primark maxi skirt with a pair of nail scissors and ended up with this dress which I knotted at the back. Whilst my sewing is very amateur I feel like the rough edges work well over this caged back bralet from H&M and give the look a grunge feel.
The Miss Selfridge chain collar was overdue for a rotation in the cycle of statement necklaces adds bit of drama. I tied a shirt round my waist because you never know what the weather will do!
Finally I resurrected these extremely battered boots from Matalan which have practically no soles left and plenty of holes but they are the comfiest shoes I own so worth looking rocking the whole homeless-chic look for.
I have seen a lot of blogger bucket lists of action packed summers, yet in all honestly my greatest achievement has been mastering the Sims 2 open for business expansion pack and finishing The killing series four in 48 hours... I love doing nothing :)
Hope you're enjoying a relaxed summer x
dress: Zara
(similar), shoes: converse, bag: not sure sorry!
Ahh trends, how they come and go. A few months ago this dress was massive in the fashion world and EVERYONE had it, I managed to get the last one in stock while on a trip to London. I decided to pull it out of my wardrobe as I hadn't worn it in a while and I now remember why we all went crazy over it. I love the shape and the material and how it looks way more expensive than it actually once. Zara don't stock this anymore but I've seen them floating around Depop for not too expensive and Choies have brought out a copy although I'd be wary of the material.
I must admit I'm harbouring a secret desire for Autumn to come around and with it dark fashion. However we are still in the midst of Summer I am trying to embrace it. I feel like this outfit is as summery as I'm going to get!

p.s. look out for my fairly dramatic haircut in my next post!
Sheer midi dress: Oxfam, Pokemon crop: Depop seller 'frankenskankk', Cardigan: Very, Shoes: Converse
Feel like it's been ages since I sat down to write a post! This Pokemon tie back crop top is the newest addition to my wardrobe and I love it! I absolutely love cartoons and I used to be into Pokemon and play the gameboy game with my cousins. It's not really the appropriate weather to be wearing a crop top so I layered it over this sheer midi dress that I picked up from Oxfam and haven't worn yet. I love the layered effect I think it adds a lil something. This cardigan is fab! It's so similar to the very expensive American Apparel ones and it's actually quite warm. This is going to sound weird but I feel a bit too dramatic when I'm walking and it flys out behind me like a cape so I have to walk holding it in one hand haha. I love how it's a bit gothic I'm all about that WITCH LIFE can I get a whut whutttt.
Got the usual converse on they're just my go to for comfort and simplicity. I call this hairstyle my 'Li Shang' as it's loosely based around the sexiest Disney character of all time from the best film ever Mulan. On the one hand I think it's cute, on the other it's a bit toddler like!
How are you all?

Shirt: eBay, Kimono eBay, Choker: Ali Express, Leggings: River Island, Boots: Monki
So me and Charlotte are fast becoming bargain queens through our sheer refusal to pay full price for clothes. I layered this white shirt with a black sheer kimono and pulled out my River Island pinstripe leggings which I love. They remind me of the baseball scene in the first Twilight film although they seem to have stretched out in the wash, making me look more wrinkly than a Shar pei puppy, extremely annoying but what can you do?
I added my cleated Monki boots for some much needed height, I'm currently training myself to walk in heels regularly as I'm only five foot, I know it's probably not medically advisable...
My favourite part of this look is this choker. If my memory serves me correctly it was £1.25 with free shipping off AliExpress! Yes it's a little cheap looking and a pitiful dupe of the one worn by Kim Kardashian but it's definitely a statement piece which I have found myself reaching for more often than expected.
I haven't done a smokey eye in a while so I used tease and snakebite from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I can't wait to get my hair done next week, as you can probably see, my roots have been very neglected lately! I'm thinking of going for a darker, strawberry blonde as I've always wanted to go red, I might just chicken out and stay blonde so stay tuned to find out!

Top: Topshop, Disco Pants: AA, Coat: River Island, Creepers: Underground X Urban Outfitters, Necklace: Nasty Gal, Bag: 'Borrowed' off my Mum
It seems that I pull fashion inspiration from the weirdest places. I've recently discovered my new favourite show, "Freak Show" and with it I've rediscovered my love for the weird and creepy. I'll admit the shows not for everyone, two headed baby in a jar or a man putting a meat hook through his nose anyone? But I really do love it, in fact I'm currently nurturing a secret desire to become a sword swallower.... Also, my FAVOURITE book for a long time was Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children which features a Victorian photograph of two young children dressed up as clowns and I just wanted to pretend to be that today.
Okay so maybe it's weird to want to dress like a Victorian sad clown child but my rediscovery of passion for the creepy and macabre has filtered into my wardrobe. We've spoke about AHS on here before and I even did an OOTD inspired by season three, so maybe this can be my season four inspired outfit?
This top I picked up for New Years Eve and haven't worn it since (I know! Need to stop buying things) and I decided that it was very circus and carnival like. I've had my disco pants for about 4 years now and thought I'd pull them on as it had been a while. Of course I had to begrudgingly throw the coat back on as it has gone cold again and obviously this mesh tshirt isn't the warmest. My shoes are the brogue creepers that were brought out in Underground and Urban Outfitters collab, I've been told that they look like clown shoes so I thought they'd be perfect to compliment this clown look.
For makeup I used Makeup Geek's Insomnia which is basically MAC's blue brown as it matches the duo chrome of the sequins and I drew a triangle of glitter under my eye to look like a traditional Harlequin clown or to look like glitter tears. Whichever floats your boat. Oh and yes, I wore this ensemble in my volunteering shift at Oxfam, they are used to it by now!
Sad clown child forever,
-Charlotte
P.S. Here's the photo I was inspired by, if you're scared of clowns maybe look away now....
I KNOW I'M SUPER WEIRD.
